The Stranger Things Madness

The Stranger Things Madness

Hawkins, Indiana. The home of Stranger Things, and all the characters we know and love.

This is an American TV show is based in the 80s, a sci-fi series that has captured the hearts of millions and has formed quite the fandom. In this series, young kids investigate the disappearance of their best friend and uncover a whole world below them, known as the ‘Upside Down’. After discovering this world and an individual named Eleven, the kids are plunged into a world of action and fighting monsters to save their cursed town.

Stranger Things has 4 seasons currently, with Season 4 being the latest, having released on May 27th, 2022, for Volume 1 and July 1st, 2022, for Volume 2. We think this season has been a wild ride and has been – without a doubt – one of the best seasons thus far. It has definitely been the longest season in terms of run time, as the shortest episode is 1 hour and 4 minutes long. Most episodes are around 1 hour and 20 minutes and the final episode being 2 hours and 22 minutes with a hint (and later confirmation) of a Season 5 to conclude the series.

This series currently holds 124 Pops! with the first-ever ‘Stranger Things Pop!’ on the popular horizon – which is a list of pops from this series targeting the character Eleven with Eggos. This comes from the moment when Eleven escaped the laboratory in Season 1 and steals some Eggos from a grocery store. Currently, the most expensive Pop! is 512 Hopper (Gold) from San Diego Comic-Con 2018, with a value of $5100!! 674 Robin (SDCC 2018) and 675 Steve (SDCC 2018) are in close second and third in their AHOY Sailor outfits.

Eddy has quickly climbed the ranks as a fan favourite character and already reached the top five most expensive Funkos in the series. Eddy was only recently introduced into season 4 as the Dungeon Master for the Hellfire D&D group at Hawkins High. His quirky personality and funky style quickly caught the hearts of Stranger Things fans as he got more involved in the season as it progressed over the 9 episodes.

With the popularity that Stranger Things has been gaining, Funko immediately jumped into Pop! production to bring you this awesome collection of Pops! that has since been released to the market. In light of the new season, Funko has released a new range to honour the characters of this season.

After releasing these Funkos on their website, they sold out in minutes with only the common factors of Eleven, Mike, and Will still being available. For how long, we aren’t sure, but they definitely won’t be available for much longer. The new pops include an exclusive version of Eddy playing his electric guitar, the moment of bloody Eleven in the Rainbow Room, Eleven in her tank gear, Basketball Lucas and Dustin in his thinking cap.

We are all so excited to get our hands on these fantastic new editions to the Stranger Things Funko family! Were you lucky enough to get the one you wanted? Best keep your eye out for a hopeful restock in the near future.
