What began as a shared passion for Funko POPs—fuelled by their childhood nostalgia from the ’80s and devotion to their favourite football teams—has blossomed into a thriving enterprise. Their personal collection, boasting over 1,000 Funko POPs, includes rare grails and limited editions, a testament to their love for the craft of collecting.

After months of meticulous planning and research, The Silver Toy Shop officially opened its virtual doors in May 2020. Since then, it has rapidly grown into one of Cape Town’s most talked-about toy stores and a leading Funko POP! reseller, built by collectors, for collectors. Originally operating as an online Facebook store, the shop has since expanded into physical premises in Bloubergstrand, Cape Town. Our online store remains open 24/7, ensuring you can browse and shop anytime. Our store is now open daily, Monday to Saturday, 9 am – 2 pm.
